Biography

Marla has been sure that she is a telepath since the age 17, when she and some girlfriends were dallying with tarot cards. In her deal, she read the fortune of a friend who was said to have a grisly death and, the next weekend, the young lady’s entire family was killed by a bear while camping in the Sierra Mountains. The truth is that the family was keeping their icebox in their tent, inside of which they were storing their trout and salmon catches.

Ever since, Marla has thought it was in her to foretell the future. Occasionally she gets lucky, especially when she predicts earthquakes. She also believes that the spirits are manifest in her life, often mistaking breezes from open windows or doors as poltergeists sweeping ledgers and papers from her counter tops.

Marla is a big believer in the universal idea of karma and it has proven quite invaluable to her. Her business has never been in the red, she’s never had to pay for landscaping, and she always has plenty of help around when there is a need. She never fails to give all she can to those who are without. The Paranet
