Biography
Pickle began appearing to Max when he was just a child - and only to Max. For the longest time, he was just a playmate to an otherwise lonely child. But as Max aged, Pickle didn't disappear, like a normal imaginary friend.
Naturally, Max just thought he was crazy, and that was that.
Then Andy saw him, too. And Max realized that something much deeper was going on.
That Pickle was a fae, and somewhere along the way, a bargain had been struck, and Pickle was here to stay. Max still doesn't know why, or who struck the bargain, or what the terms were. He's kind of afraid to ask.
For his part, Pickle is willing to help Max with magical situations, but there does always seem to be a cost...
