Biography
This former subject of the British Empire was once one of the world's best mediums. He knew Sarah Winchester personally, and was the medium who advised her. He also advised Harry Houdini in his efforts to bust fake seances and con-men.
After growing weary of that, he was a butler, then a ghost. He was (briefly) a butler action figure. Now, he's a ghost AND a butler again, this time working for Dakota Colt, a medium and someone who's just as out of place in this time as he is. Pennington knows a lot about ghosts, charlatans, grifters, snake-oil salesmen, and how to serve proper tea. He knows virtually nothing about anything that happened after 1895, when he died. Modern technology in particular is both baffling and fascinating to him. The Paranet
