Biography

Encountered by the Paranet in the midst of a sinister power grab, The Heliographer was banished from San Francisco for at least a century, but history suggests he'll be back.

He is the creator of an insidious power trap – the Camera of Soul Stealing. The camera has no effect at first, but the more prints that are sold, the more power he grabs – each print sold steals a tiny fraction of the subject’s soul, and delivers it to him.

To make this work, he gave the camera to Matthew Horton. Horton’s pictures were shown at SF Cameraworks in a highly-promoted gallery opening, and several people fell ill immediately after.
