Biography
"Run, run, run, as fast as you can... You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man!"
It's unclear if the story was based on him, or if he was baked in honor of the story, but either way, he lives up to the hype. He's fast as lightning, fully capable of laying the smack-down on larger creatures, and has a way with illusions and glamours. For all that, though, he doesn't understand the mortal realm very well, and has been assigned to spend time with Christine to learn of our ways. Thus far, he's a terrible baker and a worse shopkeep.
The Gingerbread Man serves as the Herald to a Fae sorceress named Vestalia, aka Hestia, the Goddess of the Hearth. Vestalia doesn't claim much personal territory, preferring instead to retain an association with places of power related to her domain: Bakeries, long-time family homes, and craft stores. Vestalia is a high-ranking member of the Verdant Court.
The Gingerbread Man’s frosting decorations change with his mood and actions. He will first appear as a normal gingerbread man; if he’s running he’ll be wearing a tracksuit; during a fight he will shift into ninjabread man mode or wear a frosting version Bruce Lee's iconic yellow and black jumpsuit. Other looks can be created as appropriate. This is an unconscious application of his Glamour ability.
