Biography
A smart black woman in her mid-fifties, Rita was once a street person.
She wound up on the street after narrowly surviving an attack from one of Maskim Xul's ghouls in the Tenderloin a number of years ago (thanks to the intercession of Max Stillman). Though she sustained only minor injuries, the horror of that attack led her down a path of drugs, booze, and street living, which themselves nearly claimed her life.
The Reverend Cecil Williams, at GLIDE UMC, got her straight and clean. He then recruited her to his organization.
She now tries to arm the homeless of San Francisco with faith, a clean pair of socks and a full stomach. She also takes in people who are on the run from... whatever. Interfaith Council
