Goal
Protect their members and support those folks smashing Evil
Description
This is an informal group, loosely composed of several local leaders of faith-based communities who know a little of what happens in the Shadows (or a lot, in some cases). They do not take an active role in the smashing of Evil, but can offer advice, knowledge, limited resources, and sanctuary.
Aspects
- Faith serves all
- Holy Ground, Highlander
Resources
- Multiple locations of sanctified ground, in several faith flavors
- Holy water, available by the teaspoon or gallon
- Massive quantities of historical knowledge and lore, including Occult and magical.
Primary Location
Obstacles
- SF is not a religious place; the Tech industry and cost of living are forcing out the faithful.
- The White Court is constantly tying up attempts to help the unhoused population with food and in red tape.
Weaknesses
- Technically, the Interfaith Council is a group of religious leaders who gather monthly to have tea and talk about interfaith cooperation and kindness. They don't get much done on that count.
- Most of the leaders are governed by a code of ethics that requires them to help anyone who asks - even if that person is Evil. Whether you view this as a true weakness is up to you.
- Most of the organizations to which they belong are either large and bureaucratic, or tiny and unconnected. Either way, that provides limitations on their ability to act.
- Lack of funding
Next Steps
- Prevent gentrification, feed the homeless, maintain congregations
- Buy up land on ley lines
