Description

The presence of White Court Vampires in San Francisco predates the urbanization of California. It's believed that Junipero Serra was under their control when the Missions were planted. The misery and suffering and hopelessness of the Native Americans subjugated under that rule would have been impossibly alluring to some of the White Court families.

These days, the White Court has deep ties in several industries in San Francisco - notably, pornography and some high-tech (usually the hopeless soul-draining code factory type, where 60 hour work-weeks are the norm). They are also active in local politics, usually tying up any attempts to build low-income housing and help the unhoused populations of the City.

Finally, they also run the Alcatraz Cruises LLC, which provides ferry and vendor services to Alcatraz Island. They've long been involved in the history of the Rock.

Encounters and research seem to indicate that there are members from both the Skavis and Raith family lines present in the City.
